Earning a doctoral degree as a research assistant or an external candidate
In cooperation with international partner universities, accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg offers a DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) and PhD postgraduate program.
You can spend three to four years as a Research Associate working in one of the accadis research areas. The 60-percent-position allows you to work intensively on your PhD during the remaining weekdays.
In addition, there is the opportunity to pursue your doctoral degree as an external postgraduate student on a part-time basis, whereby we strongly recommend that you then reduce your workload to 80 percent. During the doctoral degree period, you will be assigned to one of our main research areas, attend doctoral seminars and participate in conferences.
The doctoral dissertations in this program are completed in English language and are jointly supervised by a supervisor from both accadis Hochschule and the European partner university. Candidates will graduate with one of the above-mentioned international doctoral degrees, which entitle them to bear a doctoral title in Germany.
