• German language skills at min. B1 level are (only) essential to be successful in the application process for an internship and have a competitive advantage in the German job market after graduation. Full-time format

• Ten weeks per trimester – typically with three lecture days each

This allows students the flexibility to take on working student jobs, attend German language courses, or travel within Germany. 

Trimester vs Semester
At accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg you will study two years with three trimesters each. A trimester is of three months’ duration.

At the end of each trimester, there is an exam phase with written examinations, presentations or assignments. Here the advantage of our trimester-based system comes into play. The academic content you need to review is from "only" three months, you can therefore be more focused when studying for the examinations.

• Internship
  You have the possibility to apply for an internship which takes place in trimester 4.
• Real-Life Consulting Case
  In trimester 5, you will advise a renowned company from the accadis network in a Real-Life Consulting Case. In a team with your fellow students, you will – for example – work on a task from everyday business life, develop a marketing or strategy concept or conduct market research. This will also allow you to meet a future potential employer.
• May be combined with "working student" activities
  Please note that it depends on the visa specifications of your local German embassy if you are allowed to work as a working student in Germany.

Whether students find a suitable internship or job, strongly depends on a variety of factors, such as good grades, excellent application documents, a clear perspective of one’s career objectives as well as a convincing personality. Students should be aware that they must play an active role during the ongoing search process, while the Career Center under the leadership of accadis Vice President Professor Dr. Andrea Hüttmann provides assistance and support.

German language skills – very helpful

As our experience shows that a successful application for an internship very often depends upon the student´s German language skills, accadis Hochschule provides its international students with the option of completing a project-based studies case instead of an internship. In case your search for an internship is not successful, you will choose this option instead. Needless to say, in both cases, you will obtain the necessary credits required for your degree.
