FAQ

Yes, of course! All non-business graduates who hold a BTech, BE and other non-management related degree are welcome to apply for the Global Business Management M.A. or the MBA program.

No. We only accept English language proficiency with required IELTS Academic (6.5 or higher), TOEFL iBT (80 or higher) or Duolingo English Test (120 or higher) certificate.

Applicants who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in English and/or in English-speaking countries whose first language is English can be exempt from having to prove the English language level.

However, please be aware that the German embassy might require you to show proof of your English proficiency even though accadis Hochschule issued a waiver.

All Master's Degree Programs are delivered in English. German proficiency is not required for the application.

However, German language skills at min. B1 level are essential to be successful in the application process for an internship and have a competitive advantage in the German job market after graduation. We strongly recommend candidates complete courses in their home country before moving to Germany.

The application deadline are:
  • October intake
    • June 15 for non-EU applicants requiring a visa to enter Germany
    • September 1 for EU applicants and applicants not requiring a visa to enter Germany

In fact, we receive applications throughout the year. If you have decided to study at accadis, the sooner you apply the better. Places in the programs are awarded once an application process has successfully been concluded. Please keep in mind that applying for a student visa at the German embassy can take up to 3 months (timeframe from applying for your personal interview to finally receiving the visa). We therefore recommend all international students to complete the application and enrolment process at accadis Hochschule as soon as possible.

Once an applicant has received a full offer, the University will of course help with all necessary visa documents and procedures.

First thing to do is to enroll at the local town hall. Your landlord or flat mates will know where to go to. There you will receive an official registration letter. You need this registration to sign-up at the Immigration Office, to open up a bank account or to get a German phone number etc.

All international students have to provide evidence of a comprehensive health insurance during their complete stay in Germany. Most people in Germany are covered by the public health care system which grants you full and comprehensive health insurance everywhere in the country and the entire European Union. Most students for example go to the award winning public insurance companies like AOK or TK. They travel to Germany with a travel insurance valid for the first weeks of their stay. Upon arrival and after having signed up at the local town hall etc., they enroll at one of the public insurance providers.

The enrollment fee is not refundable. However, accadis Hochschule will refund half of the enrollment fee if a student can submit the official visa rejection letter issued by the German embassy.

At accadis Hochschule there is no possibility to pay your tuition fees with a credit Card (Visa / Master Card etc.). Please use bank transfers or TransferWise to transfer all payment.

At accadis Hochschule we provide international Graduate students with the opportunity to apply for a performance-based partial scholarship on completion of their first academic year at accadis in a Master's Degree Program.
