Renowned companies recruit young talent at accadis Hochschule
As every year, accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg hosted its success-tested Career Day at the end of June. Around 20 companies from a wide range of sectors came into contact with the ambitious students on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs at the Bad Homburg University of Applied Sciences, which has been training sought-after young talent for the job market for decades.

The accadis Career Day offered participants a varied program: from exciting presentations and interactive workshops to personal discussions with company representatives. The day was packed with opportunities to find out about internships, trainee programs and permanent positions. In addition to well-known international corporations, the participants also included renowned medium-sized companies of all kinds.

The event was opened by Prof. Andrea Hüttmann, Vice President of accadis Hochschule, who has been organizing the Career Day for years. “The accadis Career Day is not one of those typical career fairs where people mainly exchange business cards and make casual contacts,” says Prof. Andrea Hüttmann. “Thanks to the special organization and the opportunity to conduct interviews on specific job descriptions on site, the day results in a large number of employment relationships every year.” This allows accadis students to convince companies of their merits directly at Career Day and often avoid lengthy application processes.
Managing Partner Gerda Meinl-Kexel also welcomed the guests: “The skill set that we equip students with at accadis Hochschule is very exceptional. You really do find yourself in a goldmine here,” said Gerda Meinl-Kexel with a wink to the representatives of the host companies.
Time-tested success: accadis alumni return to present their companies
Proof of the university's tried-and-tested concept is the fact that numerous alumni return to Bad Homburg every year to present their companies and engage in employer branding on Career Day. A total of twelve companies - including SAP, Samsung, PwC, MHP, Mattel and the DFB - were represented by accadis alumni.
For years, alumni have also proudly acted as patrons of accadis Career Day, promoting the day to current students and talking about their own career paths since graduating.
Varied additional program
In addition to the company pitches, trade fairs and individual interviews, there is also a varied complementary program every year. In exciting business talks, experts from Marriott, Deloitte and Hoesch & Partner, among others, provided students with fascinating insights into various industries. The business talk by Paul Jörg Feldhoff (Feldhoff & Cie.) and Jens Klemann (STRATECO) was a particular highlight. In dialogue with the organizers Prof. Andrea Hüttmann and Alina Weber, the two company founders shared their own experiences as entrepreneurs and managing directors and gave the accadis students valuable tips for their future careers. Especially for our International Students, Alberto Coronado from the Welcomecenter Hessen gave a presentation on "Entry into the German Job Market".
