Regardless of gender, origin or world view: we support our students individually and strengthen them on their path to a responsible career. With over 30% of our lecturers being women and 50 to 60% of our students being female, we send out a clear signal in favour of gender equality - including our management positions, which are currently 100% female (Head of Studies and Research) as well as 50% female (Head of University).
Accessibility during your studies
Our campus is barrier-free - with lifts and level access to all classrooms and group rooms. We also provide equal conditions through individually tailored accommodations for individual disadvantages. Whether in terms of admission, examinations or compulsory attendance - we are proactive and solution- orientated. We also offer customised support for students with children or international applicants.
#weareaccadis - embracing responsibility
Sustainability is part of everyday life for us: our students have been learning almost paper-free for years - in digital classrooms, with cloud-based tools and sustainable teaching content such as the ‘Sustainability Management’ module. Every accadis student receives a durable thermo mug or thermo flask at the start of their studies - to ensure a green footprint in everyday study life. We are gradually equipping our buildings with smart energy systems, including charging stations for electric cars. As a partner of the Feldberginitiative e. V., we are actively involved in the reforestation of our region. There is a #accadisgoesgreen team that focuses on accadis’ green transition. Here, volunteer students are actively involved in various projects and events.
