First impressions of accadis Hochschule for
a student who obtained his undergraduate degree in the USAAfter completing your undergraduate degree, a
lot of questions arise. Will I start working right away? Will I start a Graduate
program in Germany? And then ultimately, what is the right institution that
suits my character and needs the most?
Personally, I studied in the US as a
collegiate athlete at a fairly big college. Despite the size of the
institution, the family atmosphere and caring environment really stood out to
me. Small classes and a lot of committed professors made studying really
enjoyable. Unfortunately, the situation in most German universities is quite
the opposite. Crowded lecture halls, an anonymous atmosphere and overly busy
professors are the sad reality.
Knowing my preferences fairly well after 4
years of studying abroad, attending public university was not my way to go. I
was looking for an alternative that provided a high level of education in a
friendly and personal environment. Now, 6 weeks into my graduate program at
accadis Hochschule, I can straightforwardly say that all my needs are being perfectly
met. Amazing staff that actually cares about the students and provides all
needed help. The facility suits the size of the student body well, and is up to
date with technological requirements. My fellow students must be specifically mentioned.
It is amazing to see how quickly strangers turn into friends. Starting from
orientation day, where I did not know anyone, until now, when I am looking
forward to seeing my friends in the lecture room. Quite frankly, I was
impressed how the prejudice of private universities was proven wrong here at
accadis Hochschule. It is stunning to see how so many diverse cultures and
personalities get along and work together toward their common goal.
For everyone coming from outside of
Germany, I can only recommend accadis Hochschule for his/her next step in their
educational career. The welcoming environment, combined with great education is
the perfect fit for everyone who wants to be more than just matriculation
number.
