Study.EU ranking, Germany is the most attractive European country for a semester
abroad amongst international students. Germany's major cities are particularly
popular as they offer excellent connections to other European cities,

and universities. According to the new "Expat Insider" study by
InterNations, the metropolitan region of Frankfurt am Main, which also includes
Bad Homburg with accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg, is particularly popular.

study, 13,000 people from 188 countries assessed the quality of life in 51
cities using more than 25 criteria. Worldwide, Frankfurt am Main ranks tenth
among the most popular immigration destinations. "Mainhattan“ scored
particularly well in the career sector. Countless international companies have
locations in and around Frankfurt. The financial and advertising sectors are
strongly represented, as are the long-established publishing industry and the
sports business with first division football clubs such as Eintracht Frankfurt
and sports associations such as the DFB. Frankfurt is also Germany's
"trade fair capital".

The region

Bad Homburg, the Hochtaunus district town with around 52,000 inhabitants. In
the old city center there are numerous cafés, restaurants and bars. In the various
city districts you can be active in sports clubs or attend cultural events.
Since the 19th century Bad Homburg has also been one of the best-known German
health resorts. It is also worth exploring the nearby Taunus mountains by bike,
in hiking or jogging shoes.
