Due to the
Covid-19 situation, many of our prospective students and applicants are
uncertain as to whether they will be able to begin their studies at accadis
Hochschule as planned in October. Owing to the current relatively positive
developments in Germany, the university assumes that classes will begin as
planned in October. If, contrary to expectations, on-site teaching is not
possible at first, students can still begin their studies in October. In that
case, lectures will then be offered online for a transitional period.
Since the
German embassies are closed in several countries or visa applications are not
being processed, many students fear that they will not receive their visas in
time for the start of their studies in October. We understand these fears, and
for this reason, we strive to be as flexible as possible. Therefore, if new
students do not receive their visa in time for the start of their studies in
October, they alternatively can start their studies online until their delayed
arrival or also start the program in January 2021.
Since many
of the traditional testing systems for English as a foreign language are
currently not being offered, you can instead take the Duolingo English Test (DET) at home and online. This
test is recognized by accadis and fulfills our admission criteria.
We hope to be able to
contribute to the planning safety of all our applicants and newly enrolled
students with these alternative options and look forward to hopefully welcoming
them all as early as October.
