FSV Mainz 05, thereby further intensifying the connection between the Bundesliga club and accadis University of Applied Sciences in Bad Homburg. The accadis Career Center and Mainz 05 have a strong bond
For years, there has been a close connection between accadis and Mainz 05. Numerous interns have completed their six-month mandatory internship at the club, one or the other graduate has joined Mainz 05 after graduation, and for a while now, a dual (work | study) program student from the university has been working in Mainz. The Bundesliga club's logo has found a permanent home on the accadis partner wall and it sometimes occurs that the Career Center calls the Mainz club to recommend a student who is enthusiastic about soccer.
There is also collaboration in other areas
In addition to recommending sports management talent to the Rhineland-Palatinate capital, accadis Hochschule and Mainz 05 also work together in other areas. Just recently, the accadis Sports Management Research Group conducted a survey in the MEWA Lounge and boxes at the game against Arminia Bielefeld in order to bolster quality assurance in the hospitality segment.
The successful collaboration will now be placed on "official pillars".
With the 05 university-partnership, the existing good teamwork will now be officially sealed and further expanded. In the future, for example, the involvement of managers and employees of the Bundesliga club in the sports management lectures of accadis will be intensified. "Practical relevance has always been a key strength of accadis University of Applied Sciences. We are pleased to now be able to further expand this in our lectures through guest contributions from Mainz," said Professor Florian Pfeffel, University President and Head of the Sports Management Research Group. "And in doing so, a partner with the charisma of Mainz 05 is of course not only attractive for our sports management students, but also for students in our other business administration and education programs."

When accadis Hochschule launched the International Sports Management degree program in 2006, it was a nationwide pioneer in the private higher education sector. Until then, students had studied sports science, sports and health or similar courses; however, the combination of sports and management was a novelty in the private university sector. In addition to the Bachelors program in International Sports Management, accadis offers the programs Global Sports Management and International Football Management in the English-language Masters program. In addition to the 05 university partnership, accadis is a partner of other renowned stakeholders in the sports business.
