During autumn, vegetation loses color – but accadis Hochschule Bad Homburg got greener. In cooperation with The New Motion and Böhm Elektrobau, accadis Hochschule provides two e-car charging stations which accadis students can use to charge their e-cars for free.
Nowadays, environment protection and sustainability are established in any business-oriented mind-set. In the meantime whole economic sectors focus on these two topics. Especially the e-car sector has a lot of potential and is developing rapidly. accadis Hochschule is aware about the importance of the environmentally friendly cars and acts by example. During the past weeks, attentive visitors could watch the wall to the left of the accadis underground garage grow increasingly greener. It points the way to the location of two e-car charging stations installed by the company Böhm Elektrobau. accadis students can use the stations for free.
The two lolo-charging stations from the company The New Motion are suited for all e-cars on the current market. The stations charge up to the optimal capacity between 3.7 and 22 kW – with a speed eight times faster than a conventional outlet. An LED-light indicates the charge status. Furthermore, the stations have a control system monitoring the connection of the charging cable. Only if the car and the station are connected, electricity flows. Another plus for safety is the locking of the charging cable during the loading process.
